We Made It Happen Once... Let's Make it Happen Again!
Mark Your Calendars for 2025
I am delighted to share wonderful news!
Thanks to your support and participation in last year's Charity Golf Classic that marked my 50th anniversary in the insurance industry, the Canadian Osteogenesis Imperfecta Society has been able to launch the first Dr. Francis Glorieux Research Fellowship. As a result, COIS has also received many potentially groundbreaking research proposals. These projects promise to transform the lives of individuals living with OI, as well as their families... and will have far reaching benefits for the global OI community.
Last year's golf day was a wonderful success. It was also a day full of camaraderie, friendly competition and a whole lot of fun. I am incredibly grateful to you and to all our business partners, customers, and friends. Your good will and generosity made it possible. Today I call upon you once again in the hopes that you will help us make the Charity Golf Classic an annual event. So please mark your calendars for Tuesday, June 3rd at Glen Abbey Golf Club. Grab your foursome for $2,500 and seize the opportunity to also sponsor a hole or more to boost our fundraising efforts.
We are hoping to be joined by Dr Francis Glorieux himself, the brilliant physician and researcher whose ground breaking work we have honoured with this fellowship. The first recipient of the Research Fellowship will also be joining us to describe how your fundraising support will contribute to their pioneering work.
Together let's hit the green and tee off for a great cause as we continue to make a difference to the OI community in Canada and around the world!
With heartfelt appreciation,
Jacinta Whyte
